About Advantage Hearing Centers

Advantage Hearing Centers is located in the south central Sioux Falls, close to Interstate I 29 and I 229. We offer patients a complete line of state of the art multi channel digital hearing instruments. We provide weekly hearing aid centers and in home services. We have a very unique service program, from the initial time of purchase we will see our patients every 4 months for as long as they wear our hearing aids at no charge for the follow-up care. We are available to answer questions you or your family members may have regarding your loss. There are no charges for the exams, follow-up cleaning, or check ups. It is our mission to make professional hearing services as convenient and affordable as possible for our patients. Our services are available even for those on fixed or low incomes. Our products are American Made and Digital development advances have made our products some of the most sought after in the country.

Our Professional Staff is here to serve you from 8:30-5:00 M-F or we will schedule evening and Saturday appointments to meet your scheduling needs.

Perry C. HannavanPerry C. Hanavan, Au.D., FAAA, CCC-A is the audiologist. Dr. Hanavan is also an Associate Professor at Augustana College in their Department of Deaf Education where he was served for 30 years. His expertise in detecting the level of hearing loss that the patient is experiencing is remarkable. Dr. Hanavan has fitted many hearing aids, especially in his work at the VA Hospital, and is a raving fan of the ConceptŪ open mold aid!


Cathie EggeCathie Egge has 23 years experience in working at the South Dakota School for the Deaf. She is one of the hearing aid dispensers for Advantage Hearing Centers, and specialty is in working with the patients in their home environment. Cathie is the Customer Care Coordinator. Cathie is a graduate of Augustana College and married to Jim Egge, with Thrivent Financial Services.


Corey JohnsonCorey Johnson is the President and CEO of Advantage Hearing Centers. After a 30 career in education and coaching, Corey has returned to Sioux Falls. As a graduate of Augustana, Corey has a strong background with this community. Having 4 members of his family with hearing loss was one of the main reasons Corey entered into this new venture. His professionalism and openness will be welcoming you to join the list of satisfied clients!
